1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 FRAME UP RESTORED, A/C, 4 SPEED!!! This is one of the most sought after muscle cars! This 1970 Chevelle is wearing its original color, Cranberry Red code 75 with white stripes running down the functional Cowl Induction hood and trunk!!! The body is clean and straight. It appears to have all factory sheet metal. Doors close like they were new. The paint has a nice smooth and glossy finish. The front grill, emblem, headlight bezels and front bumper look good. The stainless trim is polished and straight. The rear bumper, SS pad and tail light lenses are nice. The glass is tinted and in good condition. The door jambs are painted and all weather stripping is like new. It sits on a set of 15x7 factory style SS wheels with a newer set of BFG T/A radial tires. The Parchment interior really pops up against the red exterior and it is in excellent shape! It sports factory bucket seats and console with a Hurst 4 speed shifter sticking out of it. It features a factory 3 spoke Sure Grip steering wheel and the optional tach and gauge package. The heater/AC controls all operate smoothly. It has a retro AM/FM radio. The dash pad is in good shape. The carpet, sill plates and door panels are all in nice shape as well. The engine compartment is clean and complete with its period-correct 396 ci engine that has been completely rebuilt and runs strong! It also has factory chrome valve covers, Cowl Induction air cleaner, a newer 4 core aluminum radiator with electric fans, It has factory A/C that blows cold!! Everything is nice and tidy. The trunk is super clean. It appears to be all original metal. The trunk pan has been resprayed in its original color of spatter paint. It also has a spare tire, jack assembly and trunk mat. The undercarriage is all clean metal! The bottom of the engine is clean and the M20 Muncie 4 speed manual transmission is clean as well. The original floors are finished in a black satin. It has an upgraded suspension that includes sway bars and front disc brakes and tubular lower and upper control arms. It has a dual 3"exhaust system that runs out the back with factory style cowbell tips, newer fuel tank with new straps, sending unit and a 12-bolt posi rear end with 3:31 gears. The E-brake assembly is new and working. The 1970 Chevelle SS is the most popular and most sought after car of its era!
