This VERY high integrity 230 SL is a rust free, straight ,well
preserved example. The body is straight with perfect body panel
gaps and straight body panels. The car STILL has the indentions on
the front fenders as well as factory spot welds. the car shows no
signs of rust history or accidents ,all panels are original to the
car. The car has no rust in body panels, floorboards, or trunk
floors.
Paint and chrome are in good order.
The engine starts smoothly with the regularity of a sewing machine
.transmission shifts smoothly but in need of shift bushings.
The car was is static storage for years and was home to the rodent
community. The interior was dismantled and cleaned. Soft top has
footprint of their visit(hole).Wood is good, door panels are good
,seats are good.
The car is in good order but still in need of a little
sorting(minor).
