Cam car equipped with the rare #7014360 Fuel Injection Unit.
Original CA car with an EL Code engine block with #3731539 heads,
Distributor #110905 and Generator #1102043. 3 Speed Manual
transmission with rare 4:56 Positraction rear end. Fully frame off
restored to exact specifications with all original components being
rebuilt. Complete owner's history from new, this Artic Blue/Inca
Silver cove car with Beige top and interior is believed to be 1 of
258 in this color combination and arguably one of the most desired.
Flawless body with all panels lining up beautifully and all the
chrome, trim and badging intact and in beautiful condition. This
car was part of the Bloomington Gold Special Collection, has been
Bloomington Gold Certified and is a documented Top Flight vehicle.
The 283 engine is #579B of which there were 713 built. #679 on the
Positraction. Other features also include AM Signal Seek Radio,
courtesy lights and windshield washer. Along with the ownership
history, also included is the original build sheet found under the
seat, the original owner's manual, RPO code Book, original
registrations, 1957 Inspection stickers, original CA license plates
and details of all the dated glass. All the NCRS Top Flight Awards
and Bloomington certificates included. The car was chosen by
Bloomington to represent the 1957 Model Year. This is a very
special Corvette that runs as great as it looks. The car starts
instantly with the touch of the key with the Duntov Cam coming to
life immediately and the car drives like a brand new 1957!
