For Sale: 1964 Cadillac DeVille in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is a very dialed in and detailed Caddy. Even the underside is fresh! It's like riding on a cloud and has a very luxurious presence!

EXTERIOR: The body and paint are outstanding! That mile long body is straight as an arrow and fits right. I didn't see any damage or rust. The beautiful Firemist Red metallic paint is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished like glass. The chrome is mostly original with patina but it's straight and shines. The turn signals on top of the fenders work and the taillights are built into the tailfins. The white power convertible top looks and functions great. New Classic White wall radial tires are wrapped around a beautiful set of wheels.

INTERIOR: Comfortable and functional. The lights, radio, gauges and even the clock works. It's unabused including the dash area. The steering wheel, dash pad, knobs, and trim look great, so do the door panels. The power front leather seat is original and shows really well. The rear seat has been reupholstered. The carpet and original floor mats also look great. Power windows, seat and antenna make life easy when you're cruising this Caddy!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The big 429 is making 340 hp and runs as smooth as a Rolex watch. The motor, components, and engine bay are highly detailed. It features power steering and power brakes. Everything looks proper: washers are hooked up, the triple horns sound like a train, original air cleaner and Cadillac script valve covers are painted fresh. The water pump and heater core were recently replaced.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: No, there's no body's in here! Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick. Inside is fresh with new gray carpet and side panels. The spare is restored and is wearing a new tire.

UNDERSIDE: It looks very fresh underneath this car, I'd actually use the term "detailed". The suspension clean and has newer ball joints, springs, and shocks. New fuel system including the tank. Giant finned brake drums at each wheel, the e-brake is hooked up, the brake lines were replaced. Fresh looking exhaust with new muffler and resonator making it whisper quiet. Looking up at the motor it is fresh and so is the Hydramatic trans. The floors are solid and have factory undercoat on them. The chassis is semi-gloss black.

If you enjoy comfort and relaxation, you will love cruising this Caddy. It's so smooth and easy; all you have to do is put that top down and soak up that sunshine! You'll look good doing it too!
