My new favorite! The colors and stance look amazing, the modern
mechanics make it a reliable performance machine and the red
leather interior is fit for a high-end luxury car! Only 785 miles
on a meticulous, body off frame rotisserie restoration. The more
time myself and our team spend with this car the more we appreciate
it. We literally inspect, appraise, buy or sell thousands of
collector cars a year. I'm telling you this in in the top 5% for
fit, finish, and function.
EXTERIOR: Outstanding body and paint. I'm sure it wasn't this good
when new. It is arrow straight with precision fit. The doors, hood
and trunk shut like new. I looked pretty closely and didn't see a
flaw. The paint is white glass. The SS decal stripes pick up the
gray in the wheels and red from the interior to really give it a
"look". The tinted glass is aligned precisely. The chrome, trim,
weatherstrips and seals were replaced. The staggered size wheels
are 18s in front and 19s in back wrapped in BFG G-force tires. The
red calipers peeking through is another nice touch.
INTERIOR: Wow, these seats are worthy of any modern luxury car! It
is immaculate and fits right inside this Chevelle. Reproduction
headliner and visors, pretty much the rest is custom. The door
panels were meticulously crafted and has character from the
originals. The carpet is a higher grade with matching mats. The
center console is custom made and features the original style
staple shifter but is modernized with cup holders, Bluetooth stereo
and it's wrapped in soft leather. The dash pad is also wrapped in
leather with white stitching. The new instrument panel is stock and
update with custom white face gauges and electric Vintage Air
controls. You will be grabbing hold of a Billet Specialties wheel
on a tilt column. Back to the seats: they are matching front and
back. Completely recushioned with added bolster and the soft
leather fits like a glove. They look great but wait until you sit
in one. You won't be getting out anytime soon! Even the back and
bottom trim is upholstered.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay is clutter free with a smooth
firewall, front filler panel and pristine metal painted satin
black. Appropriately painted red because this 400+ hp LS6 6.0L is
the heart of this machine. It also has aluminum heads, Holley
Sniper EFI and custom black coated headers is. I really like the
Billet Specialties valve covers. The front of the motor has a
Concept One black runner system with billet brackets, a/c
compressor, serpentine pulleys, 1 wire alternator and remote
reservoir power steering. The master cylinder is Wilwood. It runs
cool with an upgraded aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
The heater hoses and a/c lines are run behind the fender keeping
that really clean look. The billet hinges look and function great!
Custom cowl insert grilles are also a nice touch. It's immaculate
in here!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Matching the engine compartment the underside of
the trunk lid is painted a smooth satin black. Inside has a neatly
painted spatter finish with a cut and bound carpet mat. The battery
is relocated to the trunk with a custom hold down and a disconnect
key.
UNDERSIDE: It has been body off frame, rotisserie restored. It has
been treated to some upgrades that will make driving it and
absolute thrilling experience! A complete Ridetech steering and
suspension upgrade includes tubular control arms and coilover
adjustable gas shocks in the front and rear. It also has a sweet
custom stainless exhaust with X-Pipe, Magnaflow mufflers and
tailpipes neatly tucked under the car with turned down tips. It
also has an all new fuel system compatible with the fuel injection.
It was given a Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted discs
and red calipers at all four of the wheels with 6 piston in front.
Lines, hoses, e-brake assembly was replaced. Looking up at the
motor is a Holley oil pan and high torque starter and it is mated
to a 4L60 overdrive automatic. Both units are painted a striking
red. A rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 12 bolt posi with an
aluminum finned cover. The pristine metal floors were painted in
factory type red oxide primer and then clear coated for a durable
finish. The frame and all the chassis components were prepped and
painted a smooth semi-gloss black. Underneath this car looks
practically brand new down to every last nut and bolt
SERVICE: We inspect and service each car. We rewired the fan
relays, lubed rear windows, and replaced lock cylinders.
This one's a 10! I invite you to come see it for self and I'm sure
you will agree! You can spend twice as much money and probably
won't get a car this nice! Aside from the quality I love how it
looks too.
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
