This is a very rare 1941 DeSoto S8 -3 Window Business Coupe. It has a 1970 383 Magnum (Super Bee) engine completely rebuilt 3000 miles. It has Pro Maxx Aluminum cylinder heads, Lunati Voodoo Cam and lifters (1500-5500 rpm.) Holley Avenger Carburetor (500 miles) and aluminum Mopar radiator with electric fan and shroud. The transmission is 727 rebuilt, B&M shift kit, extra clutches, 2000 RPM Stall Converter (200 miles) and new gear vendors overdrive (300 miles)
The rear end is 8 3/4" Mopar E body with 3" drum brakes and 3.55 sure grip rebuilt 742 housing. It has power steering, rack and pinion and power front disc brakes. It has all new 12-volt wiring and Intellitronix digital gauge panel, electric wipers, Cadillac tilt & telescoping column with an original DeSoto wheel and Lincoln Navigator beige leather 6-way power seats.
The body is all original and rust free except rocker panels have been replaced, mostly restored with original paint with patina. New glass and gaskets, a 7 ft. deep trunk, rear air shocks, front suspension rebuilt in 2017 (3000 miles). It was one family owned until 2017 and then a 6-year restoration by the current owner. Will run all day long at 85 mph and 2600 rpm.
