interior Tool kit and owner's manual The Porsche 914 is a mid
engine designed sports car manufactured and marketed
collaboratively by Porsche and Volkswagen from 1969 until 1976 and
only available as a Targa two-seat roadster powered by either a 4
or 6 cylinder engine, although the 914/6 was discontinued in 1972
due to rising costs and slow sales. The 914 was Motor Trend's
'Import Car of the Year' for 1970 and became Porsche's top seller
during its model run outselling the Porsche 911 by a wide margin.
Production of the 914 ended in 1976 with the 2.0 L flat-4 engine
being continued to be used in the 912E introduced that year as an
entry-level model before the 4 cylinder 924 variant was introduced
the following model year. The original factory 'Diamond Silver
Metallic' color paint is in very good condition as is the all
original 'Black' interior with a rare perfect dash and beautiful
original factory carpets and mats. The car will also be sold with
all of it's original dealer books and manuals.
