1951 Chevrolet 3100 For Sale - Rare 5-Window, Forester Green Paint,
Nicely Restored LMC is very proud to offer this 1951 Chevrolet 1300
5-Window Truck Advance-Design was a light and medium duty truck
series by Chevrolet, their first major redesign after WWII. Its GMC
counterpart was the GMC New Design. It was billed as a larger,
stronger, and sleeker design in comparison to the earlier AK Series
First available on Saturday June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold
with various minor changes over the years until March 25, 1955,
when the Task Force trucks replaced the Advance-Design model. The
Chevrolet 1300 5-window pickup builds on the lasting appeal of the
Advanced Design-generation of light-duty trucks. As advanced as
they were, their creators could not have anticipated their future
as classics that continue to enjoy broad appeal in the trucking
hobby. This 1951 Chevrolet 5-Window Pickup has frame-on restored,
finished in beautiful Forester Green Paint. The interior cab has
been painted with the correct Grey paint with a Brown leather bench
seat and matching door cards. Under the hood is the 235ci
Thriftmaster Inline 6-cylinder engine which still retains its
correct Delco Remy starter, generator, Rochester carburetor and
oil-bath air cleaner. Shifting duties are handled by a 3-speed
manual transmission on the column, how it came from the factory.
This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window Pickup presents in wonderful
condition and would be an incredible classic truck to use and
enjoy! Additional Details: 1951 CHEVROLET 3100 PICKUP -
