For Sale: 1987 Chrysler Conquest in Mesa, Arizona

Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Chrysler was a turbocharged, high-performance car that was marketed as a competitor to the Nissan 300ZX, Toyota Supra and the Porsche 924. The vehicles were marketed in North America by Mitsubishi as the Starion from 983-1989. It was sold as a captive import by Chrysler as the Conquest, under both Dodge and Plymouth names from 1984 until 1986, and only under the Chrysler name from 1987 until 1989.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat are upholstered in black leather. Appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a digital clock, Turbo-branded automatic front shoulder belts, power windows and mirrors, and a Pioneer stereo. The two-spoke steering wheel features a row of stereo controls and has visible wear, and it frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, turbo boost pressure, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 73k miles.
The car is finished in Bright Red (R04) and features a front air dam and flared fenders. Additional exterior details include a glass hatch, a rear wiper, an integrated rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, and B-pillar vent panels. Five-spoke 16? wheels with black-finished centers were mounted with 205/55 Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires in 2017. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.6-liter G54B inline-four produced 176 horsepower and 223 lb.-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Utah and Arizona.
