This 1967 Volkswagen Bus has a great look and is ready for whatever
you can throw at it. Shows, cruising, camping, using it for
business, or weekend errands!
The exterior shows very well in White over Bright Red. Pair that
with Porsche wheels and just enough chrome, and you have a real
show-stopper!
The interior is fresh with cloth bucket seats in the front and a
matching bench seat in the rear. The two-tone cloth is very rich
looking and is a durable material that should hold up well. A
modern AM/FM/Sirius radio/MP3/Bluetooth radio with large
touchscreen has been installed and speakers are cleanly installed
under the rear seat. All paneling is upholstered to match and new
carpet was also installed. VW feet pedal covers add a neat touch
that anyone who pokes their head in will surely appreciate. A
tachometer, oil pressure, and oil temperature gauges have been
added to keep a close eye on the engine. A Gene Berg shifter makes
grabbing gears easy while you look out through the big
windshield.
The engine started life as a 1,300 CC, but the seller says it is
now a 1,620 CC flat 4-cylinder. That engine is mated to a 4-speed
manual transmission in this Type 2. The underside is clean and
solid and features performance exhaust with a great sound. Whether
you call it a Transporter, Kombi, Microbus, or, informally, as the
Volkswagen Station Wagon , Bus, Camper, Type 2, or Bulli, there is
plenty to love with this classic VW!
