Killer custom classic! Bespoke body off frame rotisserie
restoration with a Craft Performance 444 stroker, 4 speed manual,
highly upgraded Pro Touring suspension, custom 2 tone paint, custom
body mods, custom interior, finished trunk and much more. Comes
with a Deluxe Marti Report and a binder full of documents. This
pony was born a Mach 1 with a 390 and it was born to run!
EXTERIOR: This was stripped down to bare metal when restored, the
builder started with a nice clean car to get these exquisite end
results. The beautiful fastback was smoothed by filling in the
seams around the quarter panel scoops, the rear quarter end caps,
and the filler panel below the window. All the emblems were also
removed making it look even more slick. Looking down the side of
the body it is arrow straight with no rust or damage. All the
panels are square and flush with tight gaps that are above average.
The painter used high-end German Glasurit 2 tone silver and
charcoal paint. All the tiny flakes are laid out evenly and
everything is polished to a smooth and glossy finish. It has color
matched dual sport mirrors, and a functional hood scoop that has
turn signals built in too. The red Mach 1 stripes on each side
really give it some extra flavor. The windshield, rear window, and
quarter windows have been replaced plus the rubber seals and fuzzy
strips are new. The stainless steel moldings are beautifully
polished. It has LED taillights. The custom hood has locks plus a
blacked out front grille and headlight bezels. The bumpers were
both tucked and smoothed with no bolts showing then rechromed. It's
all rolling on a set of American Racing mag wheels that are wrapped
in Nitto radial tires that are wider in the rear nicely filling in
the mini tubs.
INTERIOR: The first thing I noticed was the Scott Drake lighted
Mustang sill plates which are a really cool upgrade. Matching
genuine leather upholstery on the seats with Procar sport seats
upfront. Deluxe molded door panels with brushed stainless trim, a
new dash pad, Nardi leather quick release steering wheel on a tilt
column. Center console with t-handle Hurst 4 speed manual shifter.
JME gauges white face gauges and matching quartz clock. Custom JVC
stereo with an Alpine amp, 2 subwoofers and 6 Polk Audio speakers.
Custom upholstered headliner and visors. Interior lights all work.
Three-point retractable shoulder belts. Cup holders for the rear
passengers. The rear deck was upholstered to match the
headliner.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Craft Performance 444 stroker motor runs
strong and looks great. It produces an estimated 500 horsepower.
Fully built with a steel crank, H-beam rods, JE pistons, Comp
roller cam, aluminum flywheel, aluminum Edelbrock Stage ll heads
and Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 Quick Fuel carb, MSD ignition
system, and ceramic coated headers. A huge 33 inch BeCool aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans keeps the engine happy and
healthy. It is clad with polished aluminum heads, valve covers,
intake, water pump, alternator, billet brackets, and billet
pulleys. It also has a serpentine belt front runner system that
really cleans up the engine bay. The custom billet aluminum hinges
with strut assist are both practical and pretty. The race inspired
tubular support bars add extra rigidity. The upgraded master
cylinder also has a proportioning valve and remote filler. It is
equipped with power steering. The entire ensemble is topped off
with an attractive open element air filter.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully finished with many upgrades. The underside
of the trunk lid and jamb are both painted slick just like the
body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside is all nicely boxed and
upholstered. The battery was relocated to the trunk with special
ports and wires for an easy jump start if needed. It also has a
built-in CTEK trickle charger for long term storage. Aftermarket
round speakers were cleanly installed by the drivers and passengers
side panels. The Fuel Safe fuel cell and filler neck both look
fresh. A car cover is also included.
UNDERSIDE: RRS custom suspension. Up front Control Freaks tubular
control arms, coilover adjustable shocks, swaybar, rack & pinion
steering. Welded in, countersunk frame rails tie the front and back
preventing body twist. In back is an RRS Trans Am 3 link rear
suspension, it has superior geometry over a 4 link system. It
includes coilover adjustable gas shocks, a torque arm, watts
linkage and tubular control arms. It has a completely custom brake
system with electric power assist, drilled and slotted disc brakes
at all four wheels, upgraded e-brake system. Jet Hot coated exhaust
with crossover pipe and handmade tips through the valance. Looking
up at the motor it has an extra capacity Canton T oil pan and a
high torque starter. The top loader 4-speed and hydraulic clutch is
from Autoworks Racing. A polished aluminum driveshaft connects to a
9 inch rear with Eaton Trutrac 3.50 posi gears. The floors are
solid and rust free with black paint.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 sq ft service center and hired a
team of talented technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars reasonably possible.
On this Mustang we replaced the rear tires, headlight bulbs, and
the turn signal switch. We also repaired the master cylinder, rear
end, glovebox light, center console, radio, headlight switch,
steering wheel, a/c blower, horn, exhaust, and the reverse light
switch.
With an abundance of custom work and a built 444 stroker this
thoroughbred was built to gallop quickly out of our showroom!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
