German-built brawler, while removing the bumpers adds raw street
fighter attitude. EMPI 15-inch wheels complete the package with a
staggered setup - 135R15s lead the charge up front while meaty
205/70R15s plant the power out back. A front beam chopped two
inches puts this Bug's belly right where it belongs.
Bold orange and white interior details create a knockout combo
against the dark exterior. Orange vinyl bucket seats feature black
and orange striped centers that nail the hot rod vibe. The factory
VW speedometer shares space with a race-ready tach and shift light,
while the boost gauge tells the real story. A short-throw shifter
and Crow Enterprises lap belts add serious performance upgrades to
the mix.
The built 2276cc flat-four brings real firepower with its CB
Performance aluminum case and street eliminator heads. A modified
600cfm Holley carb breathes through a Garrett GT2871R turbo pushing
20 pounds of boost. The V-band equipped hideaway header channels
through a turbo dump that announces your arrival with authority. A
four-speed manual transmission and four-wheel disc brakes manage
the power with precision.
