Classic Car Addict is excited to present this fully custom 1982 K5
Chevy Blazer for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The K5 Blazer
underwent a rotisserie restoration that was professionally built by
Hill's Hot Rods in Lubbock, TX. Most square body enthusiast know
about Hill's Hot Rods, and they dreamed up an incredible restomod
with this K5 Blazer.
The modified front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in a
Chocolate leather that matches the carpet, dash, and headliner that
create a luxurious environment inside. Additional interior upgrades
are Vintage AC and fully custom JVC/Kenwood sound system with
subwoofers. This thing sounds awesome inside! The old Chevrolet
four-spoke steering wheel frames Dakota Digital gauges with temp,
oil, fuel, volts and larger gauges showing 160-MPH and 8k-RPM. The
digital odometer shows 4542 miles, which is said to represent the
mileage since the completion of the K5 Blazer's build.
The K5 is finished in a custom two-tone paint (blue and white) and
features a subtle light green accent on the upper body. The Blazer
does have a removable hardtop with a working power rear window. The
Blazer is slammed on 20" Raceline wheels that are wrapped with
Continental ExtremeContact wheels, 295/40ZR20's. To support the
increased power, the chassis has been reinforced and c notched.
Upgrades include tubular control arms, Scotts Hot Rod's 4-link, and
adjustable coil-over shocks (front and rear). The steering was
upgraded to power rack and pinion and the stopping power is
improved with massive 14" Wilwood rotors and 6-pistion calipers,
delivering sports car handling.
Under the hood a rowdy Texas Speed and Performance built 6.0-liter
V8 engine churns out an estimated 550 horsepower. The engine is
equipped with PRC Stage II heads, a Holley EFI intake, JRA
stainless steel headers, and a beefy 3-inch FlowMaster exhaust. The
engine compartment is a work of art, featuring smoothed firewall
and inner fenders, hidden coil packs and wiring. This was all done
for cleanliness and minimalist aesthetics. The power is sent to the
rear through a high-performance Tremec 6-speed manual transmission,
to a stout 10-bolt rear axel housing a 4.56 limited slip
differential.
