This 1984 Jeep CJ-7 is a really cool, well built Jeep that has a
lot of quality upgrades. This is an all steel Jeep with no rust
issues that spent its life in California. This is a quality build
and it runs and drives great and is ready for on road or off road
fun. The body on this Jeep is solid, clean, and rust free. The Jeep
was repainted years ago in its original color of Almond Beige. The
paint looks great but there are minor marks and scuffs from being
used. It has a custom aftermarket front winch bumper with a Warn
9,000 pund winch that is working. The rear bumper is also
aftermarket and it has a swing away rear tire carrier and Hi Jack
holder. It also has custom built rock sliders. The underside is
clean and solid and has no rust issues as you would expect for a
California Jeep. All of the exterior lighting has been upgraded to
LED.
The interior is custom and has newer Corbeau TrailCat reclining
bucket seats up front with a matching bench seat in the rear. It
has custom door panels to match the seats. It has a large locking
center console. It also has a full family roll cage. The
headlights, taillights, brake-lights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work except the Tachometer because of the
upgraded engine. The windshield wipers and the heat work but the
horn is not working.
Mechanically this Jeep is excellent! It runs and drives better than
you think a lifted Jeep like this would. The engine is a 5.7L 350
V8 that was rebuilt (no reciepts but the miles on the odometer are
build miles). it has Vortec heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake,
headers with dual Flowmaster exhaust, electronic ignition,
Powermaster alternator, new pulleys, and aluminum radiator with
dual electric fans. The transmission has been upgraded to a NV4500
5 Speed Manual that shifts great and had a new clutch installed. It
is mated to a Dana 300 transfer case and the 4WD works like it
should. It has a Dana 44 rear axle with 4.56 gears and a Detroit
Locker, Dutchman chrome moly axle and disc brakes. It has a Dana 44
front axle with 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker, and Dutchmen chrome
moly axle. The lift is a custom spring over axle lift with shackle
reversal and Bilstein shocks. It really gives this Jeep a great
ride. It has a custom anti-wrap bar in the raer to prevent wheel
hop. This is all sitting on a nice set of steel wheels with 37 inch
Mud Terrain Tires. Great Build!!
