This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has been refinished in a
dark green and fitted with a 396ci V8 and a 1967-style stinger
hood, and it also features a side-exit exhaust system, knock-off
wheels, a RetroSound stereo head unit, a Muncie four-speed manual
transmission, an Edelbrock carburetor, and an aluminum radiator.
The cockpit is trimmed in green vinyl, and additional equipment
includes a white convertible soft top, a green removable hardtop, a
Positraction differential, four-wheel disc brakes, power windows,
an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and Coker Classic tires. This C2
fiberglass body has been refinished in glen green, and features
include a body-color removable hardtop, a 1967-style stinger hood,
396 Turbo-Jet side badges, a white convertible soft top, flip-up
headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, a
side-exit exhaust system, and a retractable antenna. The 15" cast
aluminum wheels feature knock-off hubs and are mounted with P205/75
Coker Classic tires. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully
independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the
front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the
rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc. The cabin features two
bucket seats upholstered in green vinyl as well as
color-coordinated door panels and carpets, the latter of which have
been replaced. Amenities include a RetroSound stereo head unit, a
heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, power windows, and lap
belts. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer,
a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for
fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The
five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 120 of which
were added under current ownership. The 396ci V8 was installed
under prior ownership and is said to be from the 1967 model year.
It features an Edelbrock carburetor, a chrome ignition shield, an
aluminum radiator, and a Harrison overflow tank, and the exhaust
manifolds are said to have been refurbished. Power is sent to the
rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and an
