1966 Oldsmobile 98 Luxury Sedan with 425 cubic inch Hi Compression Engine. Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission. Car runs, drives, steers and brakes well as it should. This car has an aftermarket temperature gauge - car runs cool and does not overheat. This Oldsmobile was repainted several decades ago and presents well. It is not a show car. Paint looks good but there are some spots where the paint is showing its age. There are small bubbles over the front windshield as well as a couple small spots on the doors. Chrome is complete and in good condition. The interior is clean and in good condition. In the last two years the present owner has completed numerous repairs and maintenance items such as: 5 new tires, Front brakes-new wheel cylinders, shoes, rubber hoses, drums turned. All brakes lines flushed, new battery, new belts, transmission fluid and filter changed, new coolant, steering repair-center link replaced, pcv valve replaced, carburetor repaired, new wiper inserts.
There are a few items which still require correction. The radio and clock do not work. The power seats work in only one direction. The air conditioning compressor started leaking oil in the fall of 2024 so the a/c belt was removed so the engine compartment stayed clean. Air conditioning worked fine previously.
