Blazing with custom 3D flame graphics over its brilliant yellow
body with white accents, this 1932 Ford Roadster Streetrod makes a
powerful entrance. Built by Tim's Hot Rods in Spokane, WA around
1999-2000, this Wescott fiberglass-bodied beauty features a clean
black cloth top in excellent condition. The stance is perfected by
15" Halibrand wheels wrapped in 195/60R15 BFG tires up front and
meaty P255/70R15 BFGs in the rear. Chrome details abound with
polished aluminum rims, clean chrome bumpers, and a gleaming chrome
aluminum grille, while finned engine louvers add a touch of classic
hot rod styling.
Inside the roadster, a black leather bench seat anchors the clean,
coordinated interior. The driver faces Moon black-faced gauges with
an intriguing Moon supercharger gauge mounted on the steering
column-a nod to this roadster's past blower setup. The Ididit
column topped with a Lecara banjo steering wheel offers tilt
functionality for comfort, while a Lokar floor shifter adds to the
driver's control. A high-tech Ron Francis fuse panel hides under
the dash, and a Sony Xplode AM/FM/CD player provides entertainment
options. Thoughtful details include a trunk button hidden under the
seat and clean black carpet throughout.
A 350 V8 engine brings this classic to life, bored .030 over and
equipped with TRW forged pistons, LT1 pink rods, aluminum heads,
and an Erson cam gear drive with roller rockers. Fuel delivery
comes via an Edelbrock carburetor on an Offenhauser intake. The
4-speed TH200-4R automatic transmission with 2600 stall converter
transfers power to a Ford 9" rear end with 3.73 gears. The handling
is dialed in with tubular control arms, coilovers, and sway bar up
front, with a 4-link setup featuring a panhard bar and leaf springs
in the rear. Stopping power comes from power disc brakes,
completing the mechanical package.
