SRT Demon. One of the fastest and most powerful production vehicles
ever created, the 2018 Demon was a one-year option, and only about
3,300 units were made for consumer purchase. Of that limited
number, approximately 200 Demons came in this head-turning White
Knuckle factory paint. Add to that the barely-driven 31 actual
miles on its odometer, and this SRT Demon is a devilishly tempting
collectible.
Inside, this Demon features a serialized dash plaque, Wildwheel
Alcantara steering wheel, 200-mph speedometer, a two-speaker
minimal audio system, and insulation delete to maintain the
race-bred ethos this monster was made with. However, a power
six-way driver seat, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capable,
Bluetooth-enabled Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system
adds a touch of modern convenience to this throwback muscle
car.
Under the massive-scooped hood, we find a demonic 6.2-liter
supercharged OHV Hemi V-8 that makes a stupefying 808 horsepower
and 717 pound-feet of torque. With the optional Demon kit and a
tank full of race gas, that power peak tops out at a staggering 840
horsepower. In its official press release, Dodge tested the 840 hp
Demon on the race track and saw it trap an insane 9.65-second
quarter-mile at 140 mph.
