$170,000 invested! Only 365 miles on a high caliber, body off frame
restoration with upgrades to it's function and finishes! Includes a
binder of documents. This is one of the coolest wagons I've seen,
gotta love the rear facing 3rd seat!
EXTERIOR: You can be the coolest parents at the soccer game! This
wagon looks sharp, such nostalgia with modern appeal. The body fit
and finish is excellent. Arrow straight, smooth all the way to the
bottom and all those doors line up great. Nicely laid out metallic
Marina Blue with a high gloss clear coat polished smooth. The White
painted roof is very 1963 and as smooth as glass. Most of the
chrome and trim was replaced. It has new 1 piece bumpers, bowtie
mirrors and a power antenna. New windshield and new smoked side
glass. The weatherstrips and seals were replaced. LED headlights
and a 3rd brake were a bright choice. The stance and wheels are
what really transforms this Belt Air family wagon into cruise night
hit! American Racing Hopster wheels: 17x8s in front, 17x9.5s in
back are wrapped in Cooper Performance tires.
INTERIOR: $30,000 interior! It smells like a leather store when you
open the door, there must be several cow hides covering all 3 rows
of seats and the 4 doors. The design, shape and materials used on
the custom seats and door panels are very rich and tasteful, worthy
of a modern luxury car. The 2nd and 3rd row seats fold flat leaving
a Mercedes style square weave wool carpet platform. The same rich
carpet is used throughout and also has matching mats. Overhead is a
new white headliner and visors. The trim and metal dash are painted
like the exterior. At first glance it looks like the original
speedometer, until you hit the key and the Dakota Digital RTX
gauges light up like a video game. American Autowire wiring harness
and fuse panel was installed. A reproduction steering wheel is
mounted on a chrome tilt column. The retro stereo is hands free.
New seatbelts for the front 2 rows. It's comfy and cool, I think
the kids will love riding in this one!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: New GM crate ZZ6 EFI motor offers modern
performance with traditional style. It's a 350 making 420 hp and
408 lbs of torque! You can't beat the reliable performance from a
GM crate motor. It also has an MSD electronic ignition and
Sanderson ceramic coated headers. Dressed up real nice with matched
cast aluminum Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner lid. It has
the GM frontrunner serpentine system with all new components
including air conditioning and power steering. New Borgeson
steering box and stainless couplers on the steering shaft. The
power brakes have a Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning
valve. It runs as cool as it looks with a Be Cool aluminum radiator
and overflow bottle with dual electric fans. The firewall and the
under the hood are painted body color and the rest is a smooth semi
gloss black. The billet hinges have fantastic function and
style.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Crank the rear window down, reach in and pull
the handle to release the easy to use tailgate. The rear facing
seat pulls out of the floor and the well area is carpeted. The
detail is just as fantastic back here as it is up front. I want to
ride in the back seat! Make faces at the cars following you,
right!
UNDERSIDE: Completely rebuilt steering and suspension with
significant upgrades. Upfront has QA1 heavy duty tubular control
arms, adjustable coilover gas shocks, drop spindles and heavy duty
swaybar. In back it has a 4 link system with CPP tubular control
arms, adjustable gas shocks, lowering springs and Ridetech panhard
bar. Custom stainless exhaust with remote operated exhaust dumps.
Rick's Tanks polished stainless fuel tank system compatible for
fuel injection. Upgraded Wilwood brake system with drilled and
slotted disc at all four wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up
at the motor you can see the GM crate motor tag and a high torque
starter. Custom built Monster 700R-4 overdrive automatic. It has a
heavy duty performance build with 2400 lockup converter, anti
balloon plate and level 2 firm shiftness. A custom driveshaft
connects to the M9 fabricated 9 inch rear with 3.90 posi gears.
SERVICE: We inspect and service each of our cars with pride.
We fixed the horn on this car and gave it an alignment. We
installed a battery hold down, door bumpers, exhaust hangers turn
down tips and replaced the lock cylinders.
Unique doesn't always mean good; in this case it means great!
Really, there is $160,000-$180,000 invested making this nostalgic
ride one of the coolest on the street! It's an opportunity to take
advantage of someone else's time and money. Don't wait, there won't
be another one, I guarantee that!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
