If you have OCD this is the car for you! Meticulous 3-year nut and
bolt restoration. If it could be rebuilt or restored, it was done
on this car. Pay attention to the details. The builder even
stripped down and refinished the seat frames. This is a factory 2
tone paint car that is likely 1 of 3 ever produced in these
nostalgic earth tones. Even better, it's a factory H code Swinger
340 that packs a punch with a completely rebuilt drivetrain. The
restoration is thoroughly documented with a big binder full of
receipts and not 1, not 2, but 3 original broadcast sheets, staying
true to its compulsive nature!
EXTERIOR: Phenomenal! Every fastener throughout the car has been
refinished with proper paint, zinc plating, or black phosphate
coatings. The glass is crystal clear with all new window seals,
fuzzy strips, and drip rail moldings. The factory correct 2 tone
green paint is extremely unique and was applied with expert
attention to detail. Looking down the side of the body is straight
as an arrow with smooth contours and crisp lines. The panels were
obsessively aligned with extremely consistent gaps that are right
on the money. The doors close easily with minimal effort and a
solid thud. All the chrome was refinished and all the stainless
polished to a glorious shine. All the emblems are in their factory
correct positions. The front grille was blacked out and is totally
spotless. The taillights look like new. The functioning hood scoops
and pins look really tough. The rear bumblebee stripe looks really
sporty. It's rolling on a nice set of factory style Rallye wheels
wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR: Outstanding! Brand new Legendary Interior that includes
recovered seats with all new padding and burlap plus the correct
headrests too. Even the seat frames were stripped and properly
painted. Seatbelts front and back so you can take the entire family
for a cruise. The door panels and side panels are mint. The dash
pad was replaced. The remainder of the dash including the Rallye
gauges with tachometer are completely restored. The wiring was
replaced throughout the car. All the details were addressed like
the correct 1970 only lockout linkage for the column. The heater
case and core were also completely restored. The glovebox is new
and the lights all work. Brand new headliner and carpeting that
both fit correct as well. The sun visors were recovered and the
rearview mirror was replaced. And of course, we can't forget about
the Hurst 4 speed manual shifter that is a blast to throw around
and sitting proudly front and center.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Impressive! They took a spunky 340 and made it
even spunkier with a performance build and a six-pack setup added
up top. We have the invoice, it was bored and balanced, new
bearings installed, the crank was ground, the heads were rebuilt,
and has a Comp Cam. Upgraded electronic ignition with an electronic
distributor too. The radiator, fan, and fan clutch were replaced.
The relays, regulators, wiper motor, and alternator are all new.
Rebuilt power steering gear and pump with all new brackets. The
battery is properly secured. The horn and squirters are hooked up.
The underside of the hood, fender wells, and firewall are all
neatly painted just like the exterior. The original fender tag is
still in place. Even the latch mechanism was fully restored.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Terrific! The underside of the trunk lid and
jamb are painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was
replaced and a reproduction jack sticker added. Inside is all
spotless solid metal that is also painted body color. It's complete
with a fully restored jack and spare tire just like when it left
the showroom.
UNDERSIDE: Remarkable! The steering was totally rebuilt including
the power steering gear box, pump, with new brackets too. The
suspension was also rebuilt with all new shocks and springs and
bushings etc. It's equipped with front disc brakes, all new lines,
and the emergency brake is hooked up. It also has a reproduction
dual exhaust system with the correct mufflers and tips exiting
under the rear bumper. The fuel tank was replaced including new
hardware. When looking up at the motor it looks pretty much
spotless and has the correct starter. The 833 4 speed manual
transmission looks fresh including the linkage. It has a rebuilt
drive shaft that leads back to the 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear end. The
floors and frame rails look like rock solid original metal. It is
finished off with a thin undercoating and neatly applied black
paint.
SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car and we
replaced the valve cover gaskets, rebuilt the carburetors, replaced
the shifter boot, replaced the shift shaft seals, repaired the
steering wheel, replaced the horns, replaced the front shocks,
replaced the idler arm, and resealed the center section.
All this green should remind the new owner how much money they
saved by not restoring a car themselves to this detail! Be
financially smart and make life easy by clicking the "BUY IT NOW"

For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
