The 1967 Vette is such a sought after car just like many of the
early Corvettes. Built from 1963 through 1967, the second
generation of the Corvette in my opinion is probably one of the
most collectable options offering a plethora of engine options.
Even though the Corvette is considered a true Sports Car, it did
co-exsist during the Muscle Car era where straight line power was
king, where giant displacement was king, so no doubt in my opinion
that the C2 definitely has a little muscle car running through its
veins. This particular car is in no-way original, does not have its
original drivetrain, is not the original color and has never been
judged....So, if that's what you are looking for then this is not
the car for you. However, this car has been single family owned for
a long time, has been raced SCCA regional events, sports a Dowker
383 cubic Inch V8 that is said to produce over 450 HP. It has a
5-speed Tremec transmission, tubular race suspension and ALU heads.
The car is street legal with headlights, taillights and turn
signals all in working order. The headlights have been moved to in
the grill. The car starts right up and sounds like a beast. Seems
to shift through the gears just fine with interior lights and
gauges also in working order. The paint and interior are OK. The
convertible top appears to be original and is worn and cracked. If
you are looking for a street beast and to also say it's a 1967
Chevrolet Corvette, then you may not want to pass this one up. This
is priced accordingly to the flaws that are noted.
