For Sale: 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T in Kamloops, British Columbia

Vehicle Description

I am currently the 3rd owner, restorer, and caretaker for the last 28 years of this fine 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T. Purchased in 1997 with 107,000 miles on the odometer, it was in good condition and driveable. A full out restoration started in '99 and was completed in '07. I have all the paperwork for the parts and work performed. Unfortunately, there was no broadcast sheet to be found on the tear down, as there were obvious questions with the fender tag. Lynch Road fender tags typically list very few option codes, regardless of how the car was optioned. The 1969 Lynch Road plant fender tag is somewhat unique compared to other 1969 tags. What is missing on the tag is the A33 track pack, C21 center armrest, C55 bucket seats and M85 Front and rear bumper guards, just to name a few. The fender tag breakdown is as follows: Bottom line: W=Coronet S=Special 23=2dr hardtop, E86=440 4bbl HP, D21=H.D. 4spd manual transmission, 206=Build date:Thursday, Feb 6,1969, B35263=Order number,"B" meaning built for sale in Canada, 2nd line: R6 R6=Red body color, P6W=Interior, bucket seats, white/black, W1=Upper door paint, white, 3rd line: 1X=Black vinyl roof, 9X=Black R/T Stripe, N96=Air scoop, Ramcharger hood, C16=Console...never had one, 4th line: 26= 26" radiator, heavy duty cooling system with 7 blade fan and shroud. 5th line: 915=440 4bbl 375 HP, manual transmission, heater, orange. 596=3:54 Sure Grip Dana 60, 11" Front and Rear Drums. 605=833 4spd manual, 426 Hemi & 440 HP Engines [18 Spline]. 6th line or top line: 23161=Unknown. 225282=Unknown. 9A222971=Last portion of the vehicle VIN #. The "A" on the VIN# represents Lynch Road Assembly Plant. I really tried to keep this car the way I found it, and to bring it as close to factory original as possible, however there were some optional changes along the way. For instance, I added the optional M46 side scoops, G31 outside right mirror (safety), M26 wheel lip mouldings and custom 3" stainless steel, ceramic coated exhaust (Oops)…and that's it.

The car came with the numbers matching 440-375HP engine, Era correct Hemi 4 spd ('67), Dana 60, 3:54 sure grip rear end and heavy-duty cooling and suspension. The vin number (9A222971) shows up on the rad support, as well as under the trunk weather stripping on the drivers side. This car was never hit to the best of my knowledge. Kept most of the old parts, like the original Carter carburetor which was rebuilt and put on the shelf with the 4617S tag still on it!! I run with the Edelbrock Thunder series 800 cfm carburetor. Still using the original starter and distributor. Everything has been rebuilt, replaced, or refurbished to look as close to factory as possible. Brakes are manual with 11" drums all around, along with manual steering. Have the 14" magnum 500's that came with the car, they have been refurbished. There is currently 26,354 miles on the odometer. Almost 20,000 carefree, fun miles without one hiccup.

Asking Price: $79,000 USD
