1941 Packard 120 Strait 8 engine , A very much survivor of the 40s years , last of the classic's built before the war in limited number , This Packard was bought new by a Packard dealer and had every option fitted by the Dealer , with Packard grill Gard , Packard Spot lights , Packard Mirror's and Packard rear picnic basket carrier ,and remained with him till the 2000s Seats are leather and in very good condition as is the inside of the car , the Top folds down and was replaced some 6 years ago and retains the original rear glass window , not a plastic one , the top has one handle to lower and put up again with new covers when top is down , all glass is good and Not cracked and windows wind up and down as they should ,
Engine , The car had a make over some 10 years ago with a complete rebuilt Engine transmission radiator and the body was striped down and repainted in original color and new Wire wheels fitted , as of last year i fitted new white Wall Corker Radials , a boost fuel pump some new fuel lines , rebuilt all the brakes as needed , set the tappets and carby greased all the wheel bearings , changed all the oils engine transmission and differential also a front wheel alignment etc , i change the oil every 3000 miles and filter ,And a new Battery ,
My Wife and i have done many trips of a thousand miles or more and attended car shows that it never fails to win a trophy
The car has no rust and the body is in very good condition as the doors open and close as they should , as dose the Hood and trunk doors It steers drives as it should and is Very light to steer the brakes are better than good , these cars were well ahead of the rest for there time , the Packard's were certainly compatible with Rolls Royce in quality, the car is a pure joy to drive and Happily cruise's at 60 plus Miles an Hour , on our long trips it will average about 17-18 mpg ,
This Packard with all the extras is certainly the last of the Humphry Bogart era , selling due to health and age
