KC Classic Auto is proud to present this AWARD WINNING 1969 Camaro,
A.K.A. Kate!One of the nicest 69 Camaros we have ever seen! The fit
and finish on this car is second to none. Just won 2nd place in its
class at the 2025 World of Wheels. Complete nut and bolt frame off
restoration with just over 3700 miles. Refinished in its original
Garnet Red, using PPG base coat-clear coat, with painted black
hockey stripes. No rust whatsoever! The hood, trunk lid, fenders,
quarter panels, and floors were all replaced. Painted door jambs
with polished hardware and sill plates. The rear valence panel was
modified with cutouts for the exhaust tips as well. New polished
trim, vinyl top, glass, weatherstripping and window seals. All
exterior lights have been upgraded to LEDs.During the restoration,
the car was gutted and lined with sound deadening material. It has
new deluxe black and white houndstooth interior with new seat
cushions, deluxe molded door panels, custom white face gauges,
power door locks, power windows, all interior lights upgraded to
LED, and Morris Concept 3-point seatbelts in front and back. A new
headliner, visors, mirror, dash pad, carpet, custom console with a
clock that matches the gauges (and controls for the power
windows/locks), and an upgraded tilt steering column with leather
wrapped steering wheel were also added.Powered by a built 355ci V8
with 9.4:1 compression, Keith Black pistons, Lunati retro roller
cam, Chloys roller timing chain and FUEL INJECTION! The engine
compartment is immaculate with many custom parts and finishing
details. The firewall has been smoothed and painted, a filler panel
has been installed up front and custom fender supports were added.
All stainless hardware was used throughout. It has an aluminum
radiator with a custom shroud and polished stainless upper hoses.
The heater hoses and a/c lines are hidden behind the fender. New
alternator and serpentine belt and pulley system.Power is sent to
the ground with a built 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission with
polished aluminum pan, and a narrowed 9 rear end with 3.55 gears
and posi-trac. It also has custom polished stainless steel dual
exhaust with an x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel system
with a baffled tank, Walboro fuel pump, and all new fuel lines.The
car also has an American Autowire wiring harness, Vintage Air A/C
and heat, power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes with all new
hoses and brake lines, and a custom e-brake assembly. A custom
sound system has also been installed with a Pioneer head unit, 4
channel amp and speakers.Completely new front end, including: new
swaybar, bushings, ball joints, steering components, tubular upper
and lower control arms, Viking double adjustable shocks with
coilover springs (front and rear). The car has been mini tubbed and
has a triangulated 4-link system with custom rear swaybar.Custom
gray carpeted finishing panels were made for the trunk, hiding
wiring, the Optima battery and amplifier. Custom LEDs have also
been installed in the trunk, controlled by a switch between the
taillights.Sitting on a set of staggered width billet Rally wheels
17x8 in front and 17x11 in back, wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires,
235/45/17 in front and 315/35/17 in back.Wowwhat a list! It would
cost anyone well over $100k to build something this caliber!
