This 1970 Chevelle SS was built at the Atlanta Assembly Plant and
sold new at Eriks Chevrolet of Kokomo Indiana. The car spent its
life in the same town from new up until 2024 when LaFontaine
purchased the car from the 4th owner and brought the car up to
Milford Michigan.
It is powered by a correct 454ci/360hp V8 paired with the numbers
matching TH400 automatic transmission and backed by the original
12-bolt rear axle spinning the factory Posi Gear. (3.31) The
exterior has been refinished in the original color, Cranberry Red
(75) with black stripes and shows very well!
Inside, the factory Ivory vinyl upholstery(790) appears very much
original and undisturbed! The original SS steering wheel is fixed
to the factory tilt column. The factory Tach dash & gauges all show
well and are accompanied by 6 date coded lap belts and 2 date coded
shoulder belts! A Retrosound AM/FM/Bluetooth Radio has been
installed to maintain the factory look but bring in some modern
sound!
Equipment includes: Z15 454 SS package, Power Steering, Power Disc
brakes, F41 Suspension, 14"" Super Sport wheels, F70x14 White
Letter Tires, Correct dual exhaust system with resonators!
