The SCJ Mach 1 is refinished in its original scheme of Black Jade
over a sunning reupholstered black interior! The Numbers Matching
428ci Super Cobra Jet Ram-Air V8 was completely rebuilt and
documented along with the Numbers Matching C6 automatic
transmission and correct 4.30 Traction-Lok differential better know
as the ""Drag Pack""! As I'm sure you could imagine, you don't see
to many Drag Pack Cars with there original drivetrains, and here's
the exception!
This mustang went through a meticulous rotisserie restoration in
2018-2020, and was completed by a previous MCA judge for 69/70
Concourse Mustangs, which means this one was in the hands of one of
the best. It was completed for the street driven class standards
and would certainly receive a gold in that class.
The restoration photos show this is a completely original steel
body and its straight! Meticulous care was taken to ensure all of
the correct NOS and original components were inspected refurbished
and re used! High dollar items like date correct Carter X fuel
pump, Holley List #4280, 1UA Crank, CJ Intake Manifold, SCJ Exhaust
Manifolds, CJ Heads, Oil Cooler, Etc.
The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm
tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows
87,517 miles and approximately 500 of which were added under
current ownership. This Mach 1 is equipped with a shaker hood, dual
exhaust, 14"" Mag 500 styled wheels wrapped in F70-14 Goodyear
Polyglas tires, an AM/FM radio, Clock and a heater.
