The 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe was a popular model that
broke sales records. It was part of the C2 platform, which evolved
from 1963 body design. The 1966 Corvette had a number of new
features, including a bright metal grille, a new nameplate, and a
domed hood.
