2005 Pontiac GTO. 6.0 Aluminum LS2. 6-speed Manual. Very good
paint. No wrecks or body work. Interior is nearly perfect. Good NC
Inspection. It has been a NC car it's whole life. After arriving in
the US it was first sent to a Pontiac dealership in Statesville,
NC. It was transferred to Vestal Pontiac. Original owner was a
sales manager for Vestal Pontiac in Kernersville, NC. He traded it
back to Vestal for a Corvette and I bought it in Dec. 2006 bone
stock with 14,359 miles on it. I kept it until Dec. 2017. A lady
Charlotte bought it from me and then she agreed to sell it back to
me in April 2019. I have had it since. Drives great. Clean title.
Lots of mild, tasteful add-on's. New fluids front to back. Car was
100% stock when I bought it. Modifications were done while I owned
it. Includes a new Seal Skin custom fit car cover. **Engine
Shortblock: Balanced rotating assembly. GM LS2 aluminum 6.0 block,
GM 3.622 crank 24X,GM 6.098 bronze bushed Gen IV rods, Forged 4032
Wiseco PTS523AS standard 4.000 bore pistons and ring set($600), new
Melling 10295 oil pump($150), new JPerformance billet single row
timing set($150), new cam retainer plate and bolts($30). **Engine
Top End/Induction: Stock GTO air intake with a drop-in K&N
filter, Peak Speed Shop CNC ported 90mm throttle body($175), Peak
Speed Shop Radical Ported Stock LS2 intake manifold($275),CNC
ported 243 heads with Ferrea 2.040 intake valves, Ferrea 1.600
exhaust valves, Genuine PAC-1218 beehive springs($2000), stock GM
1.7 rockers with the Smith Brothers bronze bushing style trunnion
kit, New 7.350x.080x5/16 pushrods($200), GM LS7 lifters, New lifter
trays and bolts, Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft 207-220* .571/.578
118.5($450). Sounds stock, drives stock but pulls almost as hard as
the unmodified C6 Z06's I've owned. Both the accessory belt and A/C
belt are brand new and the A/C has new tensioner and idler pulleys.
**Fuel system: Stock LS2 GTO fuel injectors, stock fuel rail,
Russell direct fit braided steel fuel line($20), Lingenfelter GTO
fuel pump kit with a Walbro GSS340 pump.($200) **Exhaust: Hand
ported stock LS2 GTO exhaust manifolds, stock GTO catalytic
converter connection pipes, new Magnaflow 15892 Street Series
cat-back exhaust system($1200). **Transmission/Drivetrain: Original
T56 built by RPM Transmissions as a Level V T56($2500), Fresh
transmission service. JHP Billet Pro shifter($575), GM LS7 clutch
kit($550), Tick Performance GTO adjustable clutch master cylinder
kit($300), Tick Performance One-Man speed bleeder line($50), GTO
slave/release bearing assembly with the discontinued factory metal
elbow,($250), Brand new PTI/Powertrain Industries 3691-121 upgraded
2-piece driveshaft($600). **Rear Differential: Stock GTO IRS, stock
posi unit, stock 3.46:1 gears, stock axles, G-Force Engineering
major bearing, race and seal kit($190), G-Force Engineering billet
steel side lash adjusters with bearings and seals($365), Harrop
Sport Differential Cover and Mount($600). Serviced with Torco fluid
and Torco friction modifier. **Suspension: Pedders 2589 rear coil
springs, Pedders 9095 Gas Ryder rear shocks, Pedders 9985L and
Pedders 9985R front struts. **Cooling system: New water pump, New
187* thermostat, Ron Davis aluminum race radiator I bought
new($1100). Direct fit and uses factory dual electric fan assembly
and A/C condenser. **Wheels/Tires: Original 17x8 GTO wheels that
have been on the car since new. Very good shape. Original center
caps and silver GM lug nut covers are still there. New 245/45-17 W
168+ MPH speed rated tires ($700), just had it re-aligned($105),
front and rear brakes are 60% or better plus I'll include a set of
new AC Delco rear brake pads. **Exterior: Original Quicksilver
Metallic paint. Not a trailer queen so there are a few rock chips
in the clear coat. It's always been garaged and covered. Original
glass, headlights(no fading) and tail lights. Never even had to
replace a bulb yet. Never been in an accident. Have the original
front license plate bracket but it was never installed because NC
doesn't require a front plate. Front Bumper cover was never drilled
for the bracket. Legally tinted glass by Sound Solutions in
Greensboro, NC. **Interior: Almost mint condition. Original leather
seats with no rips, tears or broken stitching. Headliner is
perfect. Doesn't sag anywhere. Original carpet and floor mats are
perfect. Factory 6-disc CD stereo. Climate controls work perfectly.
Blend door works perfectly. A/C is Ice cold. Rear Defrost works.
JHP GTO Interior Door Lock Kit with genuine GM/Holden door lock
switch($190), JHP GTO Plug and Play Sport Gauge Pod with genuine
GM/Holden oil pressure and voltage gauges($600). **Tuned by Garret
Tew** I have lots of documentation including my original purchase
paperwork, almost every NC Inspection receipt, receipts for
aftermarket parts and original owners manual and unopened GTO
CD-ROM . This is a very nice, well maintained, well cared for car.
