For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Complete custom rotisserie build by Hot Rods and Fabrication. A thick pile of documentation is included. The 67 Nova really lends itself to making a great hot rod. It's a great looking car especially when enhanced like this one has! Not to mention it is a petite car and when a 525hp big block is stuffed under the hood you have a muscle car on steroids! This one is fitted with all the components that makes handling all this power an exhilarating experience. You will be turning heads and snapping necks!

EXTERIOR: What a good looking car! Clean masculine body lines, a cowl hood and it has been given a great stance. The body was completely apart and restored, no rust. Repainted a gorgeous Marina Blue with a high gloss clear coat. All of the trim, chrome, weatherstrips and glass were replaced. The staggered size chrome Torque Thrust wheels, 16s in front and 18s in back are wrapped in performance sneakers.

INTERIOR: It is completely restored keeping the original charm. Why not, the SS interior looked great in 1967 with the white racing stripes down the seats and door panels. It has reproduction door panels, armrests, seat upholstery, carpet, headliner etc. The reproduction console has a cool 5-speed shifter with a custom boot. Looking forward you will see a beautiful custom dash. The dash pad is upholstered, it has a full set of Pro Comp gauges, Vintage Air climate controls and below is a fabricated panel with the a/c vents. A sharp looking Billet Specialties steering wheel is on a tilt column. What you don't see is the sound deadener and a complete American Autowire wiring harness. There is an invoice for 30 hours rewiring the entire car.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A big block in a little Nova! That's right, can you handle it? It's not just any big block either, it's a 496 stroker making 525 hp! Built by Fat Back Racing with complete specs included. It has a Scat rotating assembly, Brodix aluminum heads, smoothed and powder coated Edelbrock intake, Holley Sniper fuel injection, custom stainless steel headers and MSD ignition. CVF front runner with all polished components, brackets and pulleys with a serpentine belt. It has a polished Powermaster one wire alternator, modern power steering with remote reservoir and a Vintage Air heat and a/c system. The engine bay is all custom smooth metal painted as slick as the car with stainless hardware. A Wilwood master cylinder operates the brakes. The hood opens smoothly on the billet hinges. It runs cool with the aluminum radiator, polished overflow and dual electric fans. The tubular supports from the firewall to the frame rail helps the handling by preventing twisting.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Wow, it's painted slick in here! The rear panel and battery box are upholstered.

UNDERSIDE: It is very impressive under this car! It was flipped on a rotisserie and the floors were painted pretty like the car. All the sheet metal is rust-free, it was prepped and painted gloss Marina blue. It has a front to back custom chassis. Up front is a Heidts independent suspension with tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks, swaybar rack & pinion steering. Frame rails run to the back where there's a four link system with tubular control arms, panhard bar and coilover adjustable gas shocks. The stainless exhaust has a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. A new fuel system is compatible with the fuel injection. It has a Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels and a custom e-brake assembly. Looking up at the motor it is clean with a high torque starter. A custom bellhousing attaches to the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic American Powertrain clutch and throw out bearing. The custom driveshaft leads back to a Currie 9 inch posi rear end.

SERVICE: We inspect each car and get them dialed in. We replaced an exhaust hangar and installed a glovebox liner.

This car excites me and I am around cool cars all the time. The presentation is so amazing, I love just looking at the car. As great as that sounds, driving this performance machine is an incredible experience. Don't you deserve that feeling we both know you do! Contact sales before someone else.
