Rotisserie restored. I bought 2 Mopar's from a collector, he was
very particular with both. It is dialed in and makes a great
driver. A thick stack of documentation is included from a wiring
diagram to the paint formula.
EXTERIOR: This is a good looking body style you won't see at every
car show! It is clean, straight metal that fits right. The door
handles were shaved, doors open by remote and they close like a new
car. The fiberglass Super Stock scooped hood with racing pins and
those fat Mickey Thompson tires in back is how this Barracuda shows
it's teeth! The Prowler Orange paint is polished like glass. There
are a few flaws if you look for them. Upfront the bumper and grille
looks great. In back the bumper is shiny and the tail panel is
impressive. The windshield and rear window were replaced. The 15
inch Weld Racing wheels are wearing some wide sneakers.
INTERIOR: The pearl white interior is very refreshing. The
upholstery fits snug on the recushioned seats. The armrest is a
very comfortable feature. The door panels and armrests were
replaced. Overhead is a crisp white headliner and visors. Down on
the floor is sound deadener under the carpet and a slapstick
shifter to bang those gears with. The dash is decked out with a new
dash pad, Sport Comp gauges, GPS speedometer, custom heater
controls, and a 12 volt receptacle. There's a Custom Autosound
stereo system with an amp, kick panel speakers and 6x9s in back.
And upgraded fuse panel and most of the wiring was replaced. The
metal trim was color matched to the exterior.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's lookin good in here! At the center of it
all is a performance built 400 bored .010 over with an Edelbrock
intake, dual feed Holley 750 carb, MSD ignition system and a set of
headers. It's dressed real sharp with a chrome air cleaner and
Super Commando pie tin, aluminum valve covers with body color in
between the fins and on the intake. The front of the motor has
billet bracket and pulleys with serpentine belt. It runs cool with
an aluminum water pump, overflow bottle and upgraded radiator with
electric fans. It's a clutterless engine bay with clean metal
painted glossy like the body.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk pops open by remote and inside is
finished real sharp. Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted
slick. Inside has sound deadener under the custom cut carpet with
bound edges. The battery is relocated to the trunk and has a built
in tender.
UNDERSIDE: It was flipped on a rotisserie and restored just as
pretty underneath! All clean metal floors painted body color. Frame
rails were welded in, it looks like they were put there at the
factory. The front suspension and steering was completely rebuilt.
In back the springs, bushings and shocks were replaced. Tubular
traction bars were added. A great sounding custom dual exhaust has
an x-pipe and the factory style chrome tips. The brakes were
redone, lines were replaced, e-brake assembly is hooked up and it
was upgraded with disc in the front. Looking up at the motor it has
an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. It's hooked up
to a performance built 727 Torqueflite automatic trans
With manual valve body, shift kit and external oil cooler. In back
is a 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55 Sure Grip gears.
SERVICE: We thoroughly inspect our cars. We adjusted the carburetor
and the choke, gave it in oil change, replaced the shocks and
steering wheel.
I was drawn to it's uniqueness. Once I noticed the quality I was
impressed. After meeting the owner I knew I had to buy it!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights.
Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are
interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment
with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an
admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a
car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year
museum membership.
