1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. This original two-wheel-drive Blazer was
one of less than 3,400 built and is powered by a freshened-up 350ci
Chevrolet small-block engine backed by a 700R4 automatic
transmission with overdrive. Features installed during the
restoration include ceramic-coated headers, dual exhaust, lowering
kit with gas-charged shocks, front sway bar, new 4-wheel disc
brakes with red powder-coated calipers, custom one-off Hot Rods by
Boyd 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nito tires, wiring harness with new
fuse design, new tilt steering column and period-correct Chevrolet
Rally steering wheel. The exterior is finished in Infiniti Blue
Pearl with a fully removable white top. It features a hidden latch
tailgate, a relocated fuel filler with door, new chrome, flat
smoked glass rear windows and a Motor City K5 rear hatch strut kit.
The front bucket seats and back bench seat have been professionally
upholstered in factory-style white parchment with black and white
houndstooth inserts. Sound-deadening insulation was laid below the
new black carpet, and the door and rear panels feature scrolling
like those seen from the factory. It also features a new Classic
