Willys Station Wagon
This truck is with us on consignment from a local owner and
long-time client who purchased the truck from the prior owner in
California. The prior owner invested heavily in the Restoration,
Service and improvement of this particular truck. We have records.
A new collector car purchase has exhausted my client's storage
capacity and something had to go. He has enjoyed using and driving
the Willys and this offering gives you an opportunity to buy a very
attractive truck that runs and operates correctly with some
improvements that make it more enjoyable and usable.
Cosmetically the truck is in excellent condition and showing only
minor wear from normal use. The paint and interior can best be
described as excellent. Some minor wear in the wood strips on the
floor and some sections of the chrome showing very minor
deterioration. Overall I would classify this as one of the best
looking station wagons we have had in. The colors just work very
well.
Mechanically - The truck still has its original super hurricane
inline 6 Cylinder engine. The transmission has been upgraded and
converted to a Jeep CJ7 5 Speed manual gearbox. This improves both
the shift quality and the cruising ability of the truck. The 4WD
transfer case all functions as designed - The tires are nearly
brand new and are correct for the truck. The windows, doors and
hatch all function as designed. The brakes function very well.
Overall I give the truck the highest of marks on mechanical
condition and operation.

test.
