The introduction of the Ford Model T is a very important time in
automotive history. Henry Ford wanted to develop a car for the
masses and the Model T was that car. The Ford Model T was produced
from 1908 until 1927 and during that time, the Model T was offered
in a number of different body styles and trim packages including:
the touring, roadster, runabout, Fordor and coupe. This 1916 Ford
Model T Touring is a very nice example of these historic vehicles.
The exterior of this Model T benefits from an older repaint in its
correct Black exterior paint that still presents very well today.
The Black exterior shines very well and is in very good condition
throughout with only minor defects to note. Complimenting the
exterior of this Model T is its period correct brass front and rear
kerosene lamps, brass headlamp baskets, Corning Conaphore headlamp
lenses, and factory style wooden wheels with Ford stamped brass
grease caps. This Model T Touring features a Black vinyl folding
convertible top that is in excellent condition. The Model T's
factory style Red leather interior has been restored and is in very
good condition. Powering this beautiful Model T is its correct 177
cubic inch L-head 4-cylinder backed by its 2-speed planetary gear
transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they
should without issue. This Model T Touring still retains the
optional electric front headlamps. Included with the sale of this
gorgeous 1916 Model T Touring is an 18' enclosed Cargo Express
trailer with custom painted murals of this Model T features on
either side of the trailer. If you are in the market for a
"turn-key" ready Ford Model T Touring that runs and drives just as
it should and would present very well at your local cruise-in or
car show, then you will want to take a very close look at this
stunning 1916 Ford Model T Touring!
