Colorado car is super straight and solid and was lovingly cared for
by a World War II veteran. This time machine is powered by the rare
390 "Z-Code" four barrel engine mated to a C6 automatic
transmission and 3.25 rear differential. This particular car
benefits from an extensive concourse restoration with included new
paint, interior and refurbished mechanicals. The brightwork and pot

-Super Rare console mounted tachometer The Mercury Marauder
nameplate made its debut in 1963 1/2 as a model of each of the
three Mercury full-size series, including the Monterey, Monterey
Custom, and S-55. For the first time for a mid-year introduction,
the Marauder was introduced as a "19631/2" model. The Mercury
Marauder was powered by Ford "FE-Series" V8 engines, shared with
the big Fords and the Thunderbird, but Mercury dubbed it as the
Marauder V8. The Marauder versions were not promoted or mentioned
in dealer sales brochures. The trim option featured a small emblem
(with a flag) on the "C" pillar to distinguish them from other
versions. Marketing for the 1965 Mercury shifted to emphasize
luxury and a closer relationship with Ford's premium line of
Lincolns.. This car drives and handles like a dream, blending the
charm of vintage design with the ease of modern drivability. With
46,575 miles on the odometer, this Marauder stands as a tribute to
classic American craftsmanship. The owner's manual, dealer brochure
and 1965 shop manual are included with the sale. We always
