1959 Chevrolet El Camino Series 1280 V-8 model but engine changed
to 6 cylinder 250, 3 speed standard transmission with overdrive.
Only 22,246 1959 el camino's built. Car was built in Janesville,
WI. Cowl tag shows this car trim code 835= Blue material type cloth
and vinyl. Paint code 910A= Frost Blue Acrylic. Beautiful patina
1959 Chevrolet El Camino in Blue Frost poly, newer white custom
white tuck roll interior. Car was original V-8/ 3 speed on the tree
transmission with overdrive, however this was replaced by a 250
straight 6 engine due to the stock engine failed. The 250 engine
runs perfect with no issues. Purrs like a kitten. Car has updated
disk brakes in front and drum in rear. Vehicle is absolutely
drivable and in great operating condition. All lights blinkers,
brake lights work, even the original radio works and dome light.
This car has old paint but presentable not perfect....This car
would be perfect to out a LS or put back original V-8 engine. New
battery, new radio wide white wall tires that resemble the bias
ply. Just had bought original steelie wheels and had them painted
the same color of car. This car had new floor boards installed
correctly, will need quarter panel work and some outer rocker work
done to be 100%. Car looks and rides nice the way it is. Could
enjoy the way it is or take it to the next level. These 1959 El
Camino's are getting harder to find complete and not completely
stripped and rotten. This car is actually solid for an El Camino
that is 66 years old. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location
