Gateway classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this ULTRA RARE
1914 Jackson Olympic Touring. This vintage touring car is the
epitome of turn of early 20th century motoring. Riding on wooden
artillery wheels with ground clearance that would make a 4x4
enthusiast jealous, this Big Touring car is ready for whatever the
road demands of it. The body is resplendent in Jackson's signature
colors of dark red over black fenders. Inside the black leather
interior is as comfortable as your great grandmothers sitting
lounge with room for seven. Power is provided by a health and
robust 40hp Four cylinder with vintage aftermarket electric starter
and a custom vacuum system to assist with braking. The car is
surprisingly reliable and starts with the push of the button and
occasional prodding of the gas pedal. There's three forward gears
and one reverse. When there's rain on the horizon, a modicum of
shelter is provided by the huge folding roof, but there's no side
protection, so bundle up in your warmest coat on those cold and
inclement days. This Jackson Olympic is so rare it may just be the
only one in existence! Whether you're a collector of classic cars
or simply appreciate the beauty of early automotive design, the
1914 Jackson Olympic Touring offers a unique opportunity to own a
piece of history.
