This 1986 Chevrolet M1009 CUCV Military K5 Blazer is a really cool,
very clean, and mostly original truck that we believe spent its
life at Fort McCoy Army Reserve Base in Wisconsin. The body on this
Blazer is in excellent condition, especially for a military
vehicle. The CARC Military Green paint we believe is original and
looks nice. It still has the original bumpers and military
markings. The underside is really clean and we found no rust issues
with this truck.
The interior is your very basic Military interior with vinyl seats,
rubber floor mat, and plastic door panels all still in nice
condition. The dash has cracks and the last owner glued a carpeted
dash cover to it to make it look nice. This M1009 Blazer still has
the M16 gun mounts and a fuel can mount in the rear. The
headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are working.
The gauges all work. The horn, windshield wipers and heat also are
working. It is a nice original interior.
Mechanically this Balzer is excellent. It starts, runs, and drives
great! The engine is the 6.2L Diesel that all military Blazers were
equipped with. It starts easy and runs strong with no issues or red
flags that we found. It does have the updated Fuel Filter Assembly
which is an upgrade nearly everyone does with the 6.2 Diesel
engine. The transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that shifts
nice. It is mated to the np208 transfer case and the 4WD works like
it should. It has the Corporate 10 Bolt Rear Axle with 3.08 gears
and a limited slip. The front axle is also a Corporate 10 bolt with
3.08 gears. It has 31 Inch all terrain tires on factory steel
wheels. Thes Military Blazers are getting impossible to find so we
are excited to offer this one.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures

you everything so you can get a true representation of the
