Here we have a 1967 Ford XL for sale. This is factory Q Code 428
car that features the 2 Door Fastback body style. It's done in the
factory color combo and has been well cared for over the years.
Originally a DSO 89 Ford Transportation vehicle, it most likely
started life as an executive car as it is factory optioned with a
multitude of options. In the following paragraphs, we will briefly
describe the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Ford, but
first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this XL. The body on it is
very nice with great fit of all the panels. The paint was redone in
the factyory Optioned Night Mist Blue. The paint is an older paint
job that still has a nice finish to it. It covers a straight body
that looks to be solid and well cared for. The blue is accented by
the lower body molding, belt molding and drip rail molding. It's
all very nice and has beautiful shine. Both the front and rear
bumpers are nice as well. All the glass in this '67 looks excellent
with the side glass going up and down with a great fit. To finish
off the exterior it's sitting on the 15" Steel Wheels with HubCaps
and Firestone White Wall Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '67. On the inside, its
done in the factory color scheme and looks to have a lot of it's
original equipment. It features the bucket seats and console option
that houses the automatic shifter. The console looks to be original
and the seat covers are all in great condition. The driver sear is
power optioned with all 6 options working as it should. It also
looks to have the factory door panels that are very nice for their
age. The dash is all very nice along with all of the gauges and
bezels, but it has had the factory radio changed. It sports the
Ford spotlight and we can see that it has the Power Windows option
with all of them working as they should. This '67 comes with the
tilt wheel option and the accessory trunk release. Inside the trunk
is all solid and new trunk rubber has been installed and comes with
the spare.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
we can see everything is well cared for as well with the inner
fenders and firewall all being very nice. The power comes from the
original 428 V8 Engine with a 6G6 (July 6, 1966) casting date. Its
setup with the original intake and the original Autolite 4300 Four
Barrel Carburetor C7AF BJ . It's dressed out in the factory style
valve covers that are painted engine color along with the air
cleaner. This XL comes equipped with Power Steering and Power
Brakes with disc on the front. It is also a factory Air
Conditioning car that we have serviced or attempted to upgraded,
but the compressor is not locked up. For exhaust it has manifolds
with dual pipes and turbo style mufflers that exit out the back.
When we look under this '67 we can see that the floor pans all look
to be in very nice condition. Per the previous owner he did have
the frame replaced at some point in his ownership. All the
suspension and bushings look to be in great condition. The 428
engine is mated to the original PGB-B C6 Automatic Transmission and
the correct 9 3/8" Ford Rear End with 2.80 Gears. This is great
cruiser on the highway and is sure to make someone a stunning
muscle car that you can enjoy for years to come!
