Shelby GT500 was improved over the previous generation with
performance changes including twin fuel pumps, larger fuel
injectors, a larger-diameter clutch, a larger fan, a three-row
intercooler (the previous car used a double-row unit), a beefed-up
Tremec TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission with an internal oil
pump, and a single-piece carbon-fiber driveshaft. Larger Brembo
front disc brakes with six-piston calipers, reinforced axle tubes,
and aero tweaks to help the car reach 200 mph safely.The 2013
Shelby GT500 was one of the fastest production cars, beating out
the Corvette Z06 and the Camaro ZL1 with performance of a 0-60 mph
acceleration time of 3.5 seconds and a quarter mile time of 11.6
seconds at 125.7 mph. This Shelby GT500 is presented in Ingot
Silver Metallic with Blue Stripes, and a black leather interior. In
addition to all of the performance features, the Shelby GT500
boasts comfort as well, with a Shaker Audio system, air
conditioning, power mirrors and windows.
