Vehicle Description
1936 Plymouth Custom Coupe
In the world of Street Rods some of the most unique cars are those
manufacturers that don't get as much attention. Well if your tired
of seeing Ford Coupes everywhere check out this awesome 1936
Plymouth. This custom coupe has some very unique bodylines and
looks great rolling down the road. The all steel body is nice and
straight. It along with the drive train was all redone by King's
Restoration out of Roanoke, VA. The top has been chopped 2" for a
little sleeker profile look. The paint is a combo of Dark Blue with
old school Pearl White scallops. The hood has been set up to open
forward giving full access to the motor. The front headlights have
been painted to match the car with the turn signals frenched in.
LED taillights are in rear and are mounted in billet bezels.
Polished billet mirrors are in place on both the drivers and
passenger side and look great. All of the glass is in good
condition with a nice tinting. The car has a nice solid stance and
rides on polished Billet wheels with custom center caps. These are
then wrapped with BF Goodrich tires.
Powering the car is a crate 350 V8 engine that was very well built.
The car cranks out plenty of power and can cruise at 85mph like its
nothing. It is topped with a ton of polished and chrome that really
looks great. This includes the enduroshine intake manifold,
enduroshine carburetor, enduroshine water pump, billet 140 amp
alternator, billet air cleaner, custom radiator hose, cool flex
lower radiator hose, and more! The car has a great sound which is
provided via the dual exhaust. A custom radiator is in place along
with electric fans to keep it running cool. The 350 automatic
transmission is also brand new and shifts very well. The rear end
is out of a mustang and has been nicely painted. The car has
received a ton of new components including a new power rack &
pinion system, new chrome brake booster, new front shocks/springs,
new fuel cell, new fuel pump, and new fuel lines.
The interior of the car is done in a two tone Grey leather with
custom Ostrich inserts. The bucket seats are very comfortable with
a Genie shifter mounted in between. Extra storage is found behind
the seats if you happen to run out of room in the trunk. The dash
is painted Grey to match the car and is topped with Dakota Digital
gauges in a billet bezel. The air conditioning/climate control
system works just as it should with polished vents mounted to the
dash. The lower dash section houses the
AM/FM/Bluetooth/Handsfree/USB stereo that provides a great sound.
The stainless steel tilt steering column is topped with a Billet
steering wheel that has been custom half wrapped in ostrich. The
trunk has just been redone and is in new condition.
This is one cool custom that really draws a crowd. You don't see
these classics everyday so it is awesome to see one done so
well!
