1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 H.O. Convertible finished in White paint
with Blue accents. The original buyer of this car was out of South
Bend, Indiana - Stephen Blake, the 1982 owner of Avanti Motor Co.
They used it as a demonstrator and was never titled in Avanti's
name. Then it was sold (and titled) to the first public owner after
that. Speakers have been incorporated into the door cards now as
the conversion used up the space where the speakers would have been
in the rear seat. New valve cover gaskets recently installed. Power
mirrors and power locks are not working. Believed to be original
mile car with 25,184 miles; we cannot confirm due to age. Although
there is paperwork trail to back up that odometer reading. Clean
carfax & no accidents indicated! Powered by the NUMBERS MATCHING
High Output 305ci V8 that is paired up with a Borg-Warner 5-speed
manual transmission. Equipped with power steering, power brakes,
power seats, power windows, full exhaust with catalytic converters
intact, and a/c. A/C has been converted & recharged and BLOWS COLD!
Paint shows well overall and has been touched up where necessary.
Blue parade boot will be included with purchase. Riding on the
white Z28 wheels with BFGoodrich radial tires. Blue cloth bucket
seat interior. The car was converted by Richard Straman, out of
Costa Mesa, California, into the convertible you see today. Owner's
manual, broadcast sheet, copy of invoice, and other paperwork
included. Aftermarket oil pressure gauge installed below the dash
and aftermarket stereo in the dash. Manual convertible top is blue
cloth with plastic rear window; fits well and in nice shape.
