Barn Find 1935 Chevy Panel Truck.
My life started back in 1935 I think in Detroit. I was pretty cool! I was born with a straight six motor. I have a heater, one spare tire fender rack, two front seats a good size cargo area, six-volt electrical system and two barn style rear doors also a rag top. What's new a rebuilt starter, radiator core and reupholstered seats.
I don’t remember much about my early years wandering around the countryside looking for a place to settle down.
My early work days on an avocado farm in San Diego running errands and teaching the youngsters how to drive. So, I have some minor cuts and bruises. I do have two extra front fenders for rehab. The youngsters got a new Daisy BB gun so I have a couple of battle scars on my windshield.
After I left the farm, I was put in hibernation for 30 years. When I woke up to go to my new barn my motor was still running in good shape. As I drove to my new owner to my new home, I was excited. I was put in another rest home only to be ignored for another 10 years. My new owner didn’t have the money or time to bring me back to a useful life. So, he is offering me to go to a new home in hopes that someone will make me new again.
I need some work however, all in all for a ninety-year-old I am in pretty good shape with a few exceptions. There are not very many like me left so make a generous offer so that my owner will be happy!
I currently live in San Diego County so you will need to make arrangements to transport me to a new home.
