frame-off, nut and bolt restoration and shows beautifully with new
Tuxedo Black paint applied over a very well preserved fiberglass
body with excellent lines and panel fitment and Inca Silver coves.
Polished to a deep shine before it was jeweled with new show chrome
front and rear bumpers, new chrome grill and surround as well as
headlight and taillight bezels. The color correct red interior was
also restored at the time of the restoration and shows beautifully
with newer seat covers, new door panels, new carpet, an impeccable
dash with excellent instrumentation, restored Corvette steering
wheel and signal seeking Wonderbar radio. Under the hood is a
factory correct, show quality engine compartment that show cases an
original 283/270 horsepower engine topped off with dual four barrel
carburetors, which would be correct according to the original sales
invoice that shows the factory build specs in St Louis. This car
also came with a 4-speed manual transmission and an posi-traction
rear end. This American Dream Machines, black beauty is rolling on
restored steel wheels with newer wide white tires and polished
chrome Corvette wheel covers for that iconic Corvette curb
appeal.
