HIGHLIGHTS: Same owner since 1976! Never restored! One repaint,
original interior, nice survivor El Camino! BODY OVERVIEW: The body
on this El Camino is in nice original condition, as it has been
maintained by the same caretaker for many decades. The body is very
straight, and really shows the level of care this car has received
over the years. Even the bed floor looks nice! Plus, it has a
spray-in bedliner. PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: GM vehicles of the
1970s weren't exactly known for long-lasting paint, so it is no
surprise that this El camino has received a repaint along the way.
It was a number of years ago, and while the paint is in excellent
condition, it is showing some very minor signs of wear and use here
and there as seen in the photos. Originally Antique White, it has
been resprayed in a more modern Mitsubishi pearl white. It retains
its original Tuxedo Black vinyl top. INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The interior is in driver-quality condition. While the driver's
seat is showing signs of wear, as can be seen in the photos, the
rest of the interior is in excellent original condition at 45 years
old. Interior upgrades and additions include a Sunpro tachometer,
Sunpro oil pressure gauge, and cassette deck stereo. MECHANICAL
OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this car remains mostly the way it was
intended to be from the factory, with the addition of a 350 HO
engine installed in 1999. A chrome air clean and chrome valve
covers dress up the engine a little. This car fires up incredibly
easily, and purrs right along! It runs great, drives great, and the
brakes can stop this puppy on a dime. WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS
CAR: The overall originality, lengthy ownership history, and the
well-preserved nature of this vehicle! Plus it has many recent
service records! WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The fact that
the air conditioning is not currently installed or operational.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? While this car was equipped with factory
air, the compressor was removed after it ceased to function years
ago. However, the plumbing is still in place should the next owner
want to hook it back up. Additionally the stereo powers on, but
does not produce sound. WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This is
an incredible El Camino of one of the lesser-seen generations out
there. Whether you're looking for a unique daily driver, or just
something fun to mess around with on the weekends, this 1975 El
Camino is a great option! Contact Rare Rides Company at
