Vehicle Description
1934 Ford Sedan Hot Rod "Mayhem" - The Ultimate Street Machine
Known as "Mayhem," this one-of-a-kind, all-steel 1934 Ford Sedan
Hot Rod was designed to dominate the streets and the show circuit.
From its striking two-tone silver paint to its luxurious custom red
leather interior, "Mayhem" is a true work of art with the bite to
match its bark.
History:
Discovered as a solid, original 1934 Ford 2-door sedan in Fremont,
Nebraska, this gem was purchased in October 2014 by an Omaha-based
enthusiast with a vision: to create the ultimate street machine
that would command respect from the Hot Rod community while
offering modern comforts. The build, completed in 2020, represents
a tall investment and has since been driven just 973 miles. Its
debut was nothing short of triumphant, winning "Best of Show" at
World of Wheels right out of the gate.
Exterior:
The all-steel body, a rarity in a sea of fiberglass reproductions,
is authentic as they come. Enhancements include a chopped roof,
shaved drip rails, a Rootlieb 3-piece hood, suicide doors, and Ford
NOS front fenders. The two-tone silver paint, inspired by 2018 Ford
models, gleams with a show-quality finish, complemented by
custom-made tinted glass to match the chop. The front windshield
opens for airflow, and chrome accents, including a stainless grille
with LED turn signals, chrome parking lights, and polished ET
wheels, complete the menacing exterior. The ET Vintage 5 spoke
wheels measure 8x15 up front and a massively wide 12x15 at the
rear, wrapped in BF Goodrich tires for a stance that packs a ton of
attitude.
Interior:
The interior, crafted entirely by Redline Interiors, is inviting,
stylish, and comfortable. Rich red leather adorns the headliner,
dash, door panels, seats, and more, accented by meticulous
stitching and precision craftsmanship. Modern amenities include LED
lighting, Autometer Pro Comp Ultra-Lite gauges, a polished Ididit
tilt steering column, Banjo steering wheel, and Hurst shifter with
a leather boot. A Pioneer 6.2" touchscreen multimedia system with
Rockford Fosgate speakers delivers premium sound. Specialty power
windows and Vintage Air conditioning add convenience and
comfort.
Drivetrain:
Under the hood lies the heart of "Mayhem" - a GM 468ci Big Block V8
delivering over 500 horsepower. Built for performance, the engine
features TRW forged pistons, a Comp hydraulic cam, ported Dart
heads, and an AED Ultra 750CFM carburetor. MSD electronic ignition
ensures reliability, while Sanderson ceramic headers and a 2.5"
stainless steel exhaust system with Magnaflow Hush Power mufflers
produce a ferocious roar. The power is managed by a rebuilt Muncie
M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed manual transmission, linked to a custom
driveshaft and a Ford 9" POSI rear with 31-spline Moser axles.
Chassis & Suspension:
The all-new undercarriage features an Outlaw Custom chassis by
Chassis Engineering, offering superior rigidity and control. A
Mustang II front end, coil-over adjustable shocks, front disc
brakes, and an aluminum fuel tank deliver exceptional handling and
performance.
Conclusion:
With its stunning design, luxurious interior, and powerhouse of a
drivetrain, "Mayhem" is the perfect blend of authentic hot rodding
and modern drivability. Whether on the street or at a show, this
1934 Ford Sedan Hot Rod will gather attention! Call us today to
