it is the first gasoline direct injection engine from the American

orders in the first 10 days of availability and 6,000 more orders
before winter. The Solstice was nominated for the North American

Automobile Journalists Association of Canada. It was the brand's
first two-seater since the Pontiac Fiero was discontinued in 1988.
The GXP version added a stiffer suspension, a taller axle ratio,
and a shorter third-gear ratio in the same five-speed Aisin
transmission as the Red Line models. Other GXP features include
standard Stabilitrak traction control, a limited-slip differential,
