LEGEND; *UPDATE; Through trusted sources, a former owner of a reputable European Independent Garage in Southern California inquired on this ALFA GTV, recently. His dialogue stated he met the original owner who brought the ALFA in for a diagnosis of a miss fire in the engine within a few years of when it was purchased. This GTV had a defect in between the cylinder head and block, so the car was brought in by Factory Warranty, and the engine was completely rebuilt with the newer upgraded engine components, to eliminate this issue. This full rebuild was also completed occurred within just a few years of when it was purchased. The ALFA Owner was a retired Accountant and eventually moved to Hawaii after 2015, to be with his daughter In Hawaii, and the car was basically driven on weekends. If you get into this ALFA GTV, and drive it, you will know the engine was rebuilt. The Alfa is now back in California.
Original owner is now retired, and can no longer drive. The Alfa GTV is In PATINA condition, (original and unrestored) mostly original paint, (has some 'touch up areas, from minor hiccups in and around the car) but still in original condition, with = NO MODIFICATIONS. The mileage is said by the owner to be an original 45,579, (at this point, it is still being driven on occasion) which was told to us from the daughter. He ordered the ALFA in 1968 to have for his future retirement years later. His Daughter had no real passion in owning this collectable, as she was in her mid 60's, and didn't drive a manual shift, she mentioned there was no air conditioning or power steering, which is understandable - if one has no experience nor know of these types of cars and history.
Stock 'Buttress pleated seats (only one year of this model), dual headlights, 1750cc with Spica Fuel injection system. Car has been maintained by European Tech's all its life, and had a carport for its home for most of its life. It is now The Alfa GTV is now located in a showroom in Northern California near the San Francisco airport..
Since the owner has moved into a full time Care Facility, all the service records and receipts have been misplaced, stored or disposed of, so at this point, any interested buyer is welcome to have a 3rd party inspection done within the area. I have included the most recent service records by myself the last 12 months. The closest airport is the San Francisco International and a 8 minute drive from there to the showroom.
This vehicle has been serviced most recently from August 2024 up to Feb. 2025, new radiator, thermostat, oil service, and fuel injection calibration, and tune up, newer tires (2022), were installed, and this ALFA drives very strong, with no apparent issues at all, a true joy to drive, aside from admiring the unique and rare color of OCHRE the Italian Yellow... a beautiful example of a original ALFA GTV 1750.
