The fourth-generation Corvette was one of the longest-running in
Chevy's halo car history, and for good reason. Spanning from 1984
to 1996, the C4 served as a transition model from the analog age to
the digital age of the quintessential American sports car. This
particular late-model 1994 Chevrolet Corvette comes to us repainted
in its original striking Admiral Blue. The swoopy svelte lines of
the C4 are accentuated by its removable targa top, allowing the
best of both driving worlds - the structural rigidity of a
performance coupe combined with the open-air, wind-in-your-hair
thrill of a convertible.
Inside, a supple black leather interior is highlighted by a hybrid
gauge cluster that centers around a digital speedometer flanked by
an analog tachometer on its left and four smaller gauges for engine
temperature, oil pressure, water temperature, and battery charge on
its right. Push-button HVAC and stereo controls are complemented by
their respective orange-hued digital readout screens. Power seats,
windows, locks, and mirrors combine with cruise control and air
conditioning to make this Corvette comfortable to drive over any
distance, long or short.
Under the Corvette's signature front-hinged hood, we find a
variation of Chevy's venerable small block V-8. With its 5.7-liter
LT1, the base Corvette produced 300 horsepower and 340 pound-feet
of torque. That power is funneled through an original 4L60E
four-speed automatic transmission before being sent out to the
2.59-geared GM rear end, allowing this 'Vette to glide along the
interstate easily.

Riding on a fully independent suspension that uses leaf springs and
shocks at both the front and rear, this 1994 Chevrolet Corvette has
plenty of performance beyond just straight lines. Five-spoke
seventeen-inch gunmetal grey wheels shod in 255/45ZR-17 front and
wider 285/40ZR-17 rear Nitto rubber. Hiding behind those racy rims
are a set of four-wheel power disc brakes ready to rein in speed
whenever necessary. If you've always had your eye on the incredible
fourth-generation of Chevy's Corvette, but have been waiting for
