With the creative influences of such incredible engineering talents
as Edward Cole, Zora Arkus-Duntov, and Bill Mitchell behind it, the
C1 Corvette has emerged as an American classic. Through the C1 era
several changes took place, the 1958-1960 cars were the first to
have quad headlamps and a more prominent chrome grille.
In the beginning of 2007, this project started with a rust free
Texas car. It was then stripped and prepared for a rotisserie
restoration as well as update to restomod status with the mindset
to preform various upgrades while maintaining the Corvette's
vintage look. The restoration and all upgrades were performed by
well-known and respected Corvette experts Yenko-Wildfire, Clarion,
Pennsylvania. All worked has been documented.
The list of items is extremely long, but some of the highlights
include: GM ZZ383 Crate engine with 425 hp and 450 ft-lb of torque,
Edelbrock pro-flo Multipoint EFI, Super Duty 4L60 Automatic
transmission with transmission cooler, 12 bolt rear axle with 3:08
gears, Power 4 wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning,
Power Steering, Power soft top and Hi torque starter motor.
This Corvette restomod is complete with large history file
documenting its restoration and upgrades, it also comes with its
owner's manual and original sales brochure.
