Vehicle Description
Fiat launched the 500 Topolino line in 1936 and produced more than
500,000 through 1955. At the time of production, it was one of the
smallest cars manufactured and there were three models created as
the 500A, B, and C. This 1953 Fiat 500C Topolino Trasformabile
(Convertible Little Mouse) has the retracting roof that places it
among the more desirable and collectable versions. As per the
included original paperwork, this 500C spent most of its life in
Bologna and had a quality restoration performed in Italy before
being imported to San Diego in 2014. The restoration still shows
through in the beautiful burgundy paint and tan leather interior.
The included luggage case is a nice addition for that old-school
touring style. This car is solid with no rust in the body or
undercarriage. The best part is that it will fit into that little
empty space in the collector's garage.
